We will arrange a conversation to understand what happened and discuss how the concern may be resolved. Many complaints can be addressed through an open and honest discussion.
Independent complaint support through DOKh
If you prefer not to discuss the complaint directly with your clinician, or if you are not satisfied with the outcome, you can contact an independent complaints officer. The officer can mediate between you and the clinician. DOKh provides independent complaints support.
If mediation does not lead to a satisfactory solution, you may be able to contact the Healthcare Disputes Committee (De Geschillencommissie Zorg), an external body for healthcare disputes.
